Welcome to My New Travel Blog
Honestly, I do not write. This blog alone is an adventure. The only thing that I fear more than typing words and placing them out into the great unknown is that our experiences will be forgotten. This fear is not necessarily in those that we share our adventures with, but ourselves. I am sure we have bored more than one person in telling of our lengthy tales, but the joy in reliving the experience never ceases.
I have been meaning to write a blog for quite some time. Over the past several years I have detailed our adventures on pieces of scrap paper, hotel notepads, and estate sale journals. This has gone into a giant box composed of memories. While they all seem to be tucked away safely for the future, it is this bold step of writing out loud that may give them more life.
I hope that our pictures and paragraphs take on a life of their own and possibly inspire a person or two. I am not sure exactly what this is going to become, but will probably be a place for my brain to vomit. I’m okay with that.
